EDP is a programme meant to develop entrepreneurial abilities among the people. In other words, it refers to inculcation, development, and polishing of entrepreneurial skills into a person needed to establish and successfully run his / her enterprise.
The candidate will be trained on various entrepreneurship developmental skills such identifying business, analyse, plan, link and proceed.
BLS did an entrepreneurship programme for women in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. The programme is supported by Women Development Corporation of Tamil Nadu and intends to create entrepreneurs among the SHGs. 25 women were trained and were helped with identifying business, analyse and prepare a plan and were linked to various schemes and banks for further process
